Koester, Craig R. Revelation and the End of All Things. Grand Rapids : William B. Eerdmans Publishing, 2001. This is perhaps the best "non- technical" book on Revelation I have found. It gives a fair and balanced view to the differing interpretations of the book, while suggesting the most reliable one.

Lindsey, Hal. The Late Great Planet Earth. Grand Rapids : Zondervan, 1970. This classic book is credited with the revival of "Darbyism" in the latter part of the 20 th century. Like Tim LaHaye's Revelation Unveiled , it reflects the views of John Nelson Darby that Revelation is a prophetic time-line of the future.

Rossing, Barbara R. The Rapture Exposed: The Message of Hope in the Book of Revelation. Boulder, Colorado : Westview Press, 2004. This book challenges the theology of "the Rapture" and reveals some of the more insidious consequences of "Rapture theology" that people seldom consider. The author then interprets Revelation in light of its context.
